NOOR opened it’s doors for the first time on September 10, 2010, hosting brunch for renowned NPR radio station 89.3 FM’s top contributors and radio personalities. Since our grand opening on November 10, 2010, our event venue has been host to thousands of wonderful weddings with couples throughout Los Angeles and events featuring numerous celebrities and political leaders. From Weddings to Birthday Parties, Fundraiser Galas, Christenings, Graduations and every other type of celebration you can imagine, we have helped our clients bring their dreams and visions to life in our beautiful banquet halls and event spaces.
NOOR is the brainchild of music producer and entrepreneur Robert Shahnazarian and his wife Maggie. From the very beginning their mission was to create a family-run, boutique event venue delivering the same kind of all-inclusive service offerings that were traditionally exclusive to international resorts whilst retaining a very personal touch. All NOOR Clients are assigned a seasoned Event Manager who are dedicated to guiding them through the planning process, removing the stress associated with choosing important details and offering a wealth of creative input and knowledge. The NOOR team prides itself on attention to detail. Their creative flair and absolute perfection in customer service have made NOOR Pasadena’s Best Of nine years in a row. BANQUET HALLS AND MORE
NOOR is one of the most versatile event venue spaces in Los Angeles and is able to offer perfect solutions for every kind of event, of every size. Large or small, we have the banquet halls and facilities to accommodate your event. Our beautiful art nouveau inspired Sofia Ballroom is the perfect space for large wedding receptions and events of all types. This space can accommodate up to 350 guests for seated banquets and up to 600 guests for cocktail style events. The Ella Ballroom, with it’s dramatic art deco design and elegant ambiance, is the perfect backdrop for intimate weddings and events of up to 130 guests or cocktail style receptions for up to 250 guests. Both ballrooms boast additional outdoor spaces, foyers and bar areas. If you dream of an outdoor wedding ceremony then look no further than the breathtaking NOOR | Terrace. Complete with a beautiful fountain and 360 degree draping, the NOOR | Terrace is the perfect place to exchange your vows or celebrate the night away at a cocktail party under the stars.

To make the process of calculating the cost of your event at NOOR easy, pricing in all of NOOR’s reception packages already include the service fee, sales tax, room rental fee, banquet furniture (tables and chameleon chairs), linen and banquet staff.
