This policy replaces our previous Privacy Policy dated October 19, 2018.

NOOR (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://noorevents.com website (the “Service”). This page explains what information we collect when you use our Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you submit an inquiry, request a tour, or contact us, we collect the information you enter, which may include:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company or organization name
  • Details about your planned event (such as event type, preferred date and time, and estimated guest count)
  • Anything else you choose to include in your message

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, plan and manage your event, and — unless you opt out — to send you occasional news, offers, and information about our services. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain usage information, including your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the date, time, and duration of your visit, the website or advertisement that referred you to us, and device identifiers.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies (small files stored on your device) and similar technologies (pixels, tags, and scripts) on our website. They fall into these categories:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function, including security and basic site operation.
  • Preference cookies — remember your settings and choices.

These cookies are not used by us to track you across other websites, and they expire after 90 days. Our website does not currently respond to these browser signals. You can limit or block some analytics and advertising technologies through your browser settings, tracking-prevention features, or content-blocking extensions, and you can use the other privacy choices described above. California Residents

Most of our guests are California residents, and we want to be direct about our practices. Whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our business, California residents may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with them, as described below.

What we collect: The categories described above — identifiers (name, email, phone), event details you provide, internet activity (pages visited, referring source), and approximate location inferred from your IP address.

What we don’t do: We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. Our standard website forms do not ask for government identification numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, or biometric information. However, information you voluntarily provide about an event — including the type of event you select — may sometimes reveal personal characteristics, religious or cultural information, accessibility needs, or other sensitive details. Please share only the information reasonably necessary for your inquiry.

Advertising disclosure: Like most businesses that advertise online, we use advertising cookies and pixels (described above) that share limited browsing information with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google so we can measure our ads and reach interested audiences. Under California law, this type of disclosure may be considered “sharing” for advertising purposes. You can exercise choice using the methods in “Your Choices” above.

Privacy requests: California residents may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about them, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion. Email us at the address in “Contact Us” below with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will review reasonable requests, verify identity where appropriate, and respond within a reasonable time, subject to information we need to retain for legal, accounting, contractual, security, or other legitimate business purposes. We will never treat you differently for making a privacy request.

Service Providers and Advertising Partners

Service providers and contractors help us operate our business and may only use personal information to perform services for us:

  • Breezit — an automated inquiry-response service that helps us respond promptly to event inquiries.

  • Payment processing — we do not collect payment card information through our website. On occasions when tickets to an event are sold online, payment is processed directly by PayPal, and your card details go to PayPal rather than to us; PayPal may provide us with limited transaction information, such as confirmation details and billing name. Analytics and advertising partners provide measurement and advertising services and may use information as described in their own privacy policies:

We may also disclose personal information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of NOOR, our guests, or the public, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information until you are notified otherwise.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In general:

  • Inquiries that don’t become events are retained for our business records and follow-up for a limited period.
  • Event and booking records are retained as needed for contractual, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or after prolonged inactivity.
  • Attribution cookies expire after 90 days.
  • Analytics data is retained according to our configured Google Analytics retention setting, currently 14 months.

You may request deletion of your personal information as described in “California Residents.”

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, and destruction.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors from Outside the United States

Our services are provided from California, USA. Information you submit is processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. We do not actively direct our services to people outside the United States. You may contact us using the details below regarding any privacy question or request.

Our website links to sites we don’t operate (including social media platforms and vendor websites). We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices — review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify visitors by posting the revised policy on this page and updating the effective date above, and where appropriate we may provide additional notice on our website.
