The After Dark Mixer was held at NOOR in our Sofia Ballroom, Foyer and Balcony on May 22, 2018 and a great time was had by all! Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, La Canada Flintridge, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Altadena, Temple CIty, South Pasadena, San Gabriel, San Marino and other local Chambers of Commerce organized the event. Members got a chance to forge new business relationships while enjoying margueritas and tamales from El Cholo, and some delightful NOOR cuisine. The Unity Concert is a special musical event dedicated to The Armenian Genocide, The Holocaust and Slavery, and in loving memory of Christian Shahnazarian. We were very touched the concert organizers chose to honor the memory of our very own Christian. Artists participating in the concert include Alan Chapman, KUSC; pianists Vatche Mankerian and Yin Yin Huang; Ling Yan, cellist; Jonathan Wei, violinist; and vocalists Karen Benjamin Chapman, Allisonne Crawford, Arpy Aintablian, and Cantor Ruth Berman Harris.
